"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Don't know if it will work when the header has been overwritten but it is all I know of that will do that type of thing.

I have downloaded a demo copy of this software but it will not process out of order tapes uless you buy the full product at £1600.  Which to me for a one off job is a little excesive.
