Application Event Logs Do NOT Show up on Active Cluster Node running Exchange 2k

Hello everyone. We have a MS cluster running Win2k ADV server and Exchange 2k. For whatever reason, the primary node (running in Active/Passive) will NOT display my Application Event logs:( The screen is completely blank! It is very difficult for me to trouble shoot an issue with the server becuase of this.

Does anyone know why this may be happening???

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The event log file on this server is probably corrupted; there's a post-SP4 hotfix available for this. As a workaround, you can move/delete the corrupt file:
Go to services, set the start type of the event log service to disabled; reboot.
Move/delete the AppEvent.Evt file in %Systemroot%\system32\config.
Go to services, set the start type of the event log service to automatic; reboot.
