Lotus Notes Security Question...

Ok, i thoguht i had this figured out but i guess not. I created a button with only this code in it....

@MailSend(custmanresponse;"";"";"Credit - Pricing Error";"";"The following credit has been approved...";[IncludeDoclink])

When i click the button it emails the person who's name is in custmanresponse field. But when several other people try to do it , it says they do not have access to do this. I have made them managers of the database, any suggestions?

Do you have a Default view for the database?  Is there any reader protection on that view?

When user's are clicking the button, is it on a new document, or a document that waspreviously saved, then opened again via a view?

Qwaletee,

The default view is protected,and when i give them access to it everything works fine! Is there any way i can not give them access to the default view and still have this work? Or would it be easier just to set a new default view?

Set a new default view.  he default view really has to be available to everybody.  It is an obscure part of Notes.
