Reset Counter
Hi:
Somehow my counter reading (which was four thousand something) went back to zero.
I want to be able to display my all time high for hits. How do I reset it? I keep trying but it won't do it.

Open the page with the counter, double-click on the counter place holder, and you'll see a check box in the lower area of the Hit Counter Properties window that says Reset Counter. Enter whatever number you'd like to set it to, and that's it. Unfortunately, there is no way that I know of to recall any previous stats on there.

If the counter can not be reset, delete it and insert a new one.

No problem as long as this post will be a PAQ and others can use it. The counter I gave him is very good and easy to apply. This is in case his web server supports ASP.
