Reset Counter

Hi:

Somehow my counter reading (which was four thousand something) went back to zero.
I want to be able to display my all time high for hits. How do I reset it? I keep trying but it won't do it.

Thanks,

Open the page with the counter, double-click on the counter place holder, and you'll see a check box in the lower area of the Hit Counter Properties window that says Reset Counter. Enter whatever number you'd like to set it to, and that's it. Unfortunately, there is no way that I know of to recall any previous stats on there.

Hi,

What do you mean by "my all time high for hits"?

If the counter can not be reset,  delete it and insert a new one.

Hi,

If you are interested in having a good counter that you can reset yourself,  put the value you want and or make your own statistics.

The code I am giving here in this link will allow you to count the visits on each and every page not only the main one.

It is based on ASP and Access database.  It is very easy to apply.

No problem as long as this post will be a PAQ and others can use it.  The counter I gave him is very good and easy to apply.  This is in case his web server supports ASP.
