The limit on nesting subforms is 7 but there is no published limit on the number of seperate subreports.

Briefly, whats the difference between 'nesting subforms' and 'separate forms' ?

    Accepted Solution

if you have 1 main report and you add 1 subreport that is 1 level of nesting. If you add a new subreport to the main report you still only have 1 level of nesting but if you add a new subreport to the first subreport that is 2 levels of nesting.
