Hello, onassis.

Try to use AT+CFUN command (Set phone functionality):
AT+CFUN=0
This command executes an IMSI DETACH and makes a backup copy of some internal parameters in SIM and in EEPROM. The SIM card cannot then be accessed.
The AT+CFUN=1 command restarts the entire GSM stack and GSM functionality: a complete software reset is performed. All parameters are reset to their previous values if AT&W was not used.

If it is not what you want, could you show AT command, you send to modem to turn it off?

Hello.

Unfortunatly, I can't show you snippet for Delphi, but here snippet for working with COM-port from VB.
It works with COM object, so from Delphi it should be nearly the same.

One more thing I could suggest - is to look in the sources of boomerang library.
If it is closed sources, then search the gsm.pas file for AT command: AT+CFUN. Which methods call it, if any.
