hi!
I have a .ppm file that needs to be converted to gif  format.
I am looking for a solaris utility to accomplish this, so that I can write some code and convert it when the file is being formed.
I need a ppmtogif utility??
any clues...

install imagemagick and use the "convert"  utility:
