Included page to communicate with page that included it??

Hi,
If Page "A.jsp" includes (include page=) page "B.jsp" is there anyway for page B.jsp to communicate back to page A?? What if I want to pass some data back to page A???

<%@ include does the include at translation, so the contents of the included file are accessible from A
<jsp:include does the include at request processing so the included file is not accessible (the generated response is included).
