Hi there,

I've just started a new job, which requires me to program software for PDA/Pocketpc, but I know little to nothing about this!

Some info : I'm working with Microsoft embedded visual C++, I downloaded the latest version + servicepack. I'm developing software for WinCE.

I have found some small tutorials, and have been absolutely annoyed by the brevity of the explanations in the helpfile microsoft has provided. MSDN helps a slight bit more, but is so large that I'm having difficulty finding anything there...Most help I find is about either VC6.0, or VB...And while these are similar in nature, it does not do the trick!

What I'd like is a few more places where I can find good help on the subject, preferably some decent tutorials that walk me through basic design steps.

I have by now found the following sites, and am hoping you can add to this :
www.tek-tips.com
www.codeguru.com
www.msdn.com
www.thecodeproject.com

I am by now capable of getting response from buttons, controlling progressbars, working with images, and a toolbar menu. What I'm most interested in is how to work with the pagecontrol component, as this will be one I will make the most use of...

Thanks in advance,

Robin

Hi again,

Thanks for the links amrit! The first one was very useful, but I had found and used that example before you came up with it. I was hoping to find more tutorials like that one...The other two weren't of much use I'm affraid...

I'm especially interested in a tutorial or demo program with sourcecodes that makes use of the pagecontrol component. I found this to be the most tricky component in the EVC component library, and haven't been able to find anything useful on it...

Hmmm, I'm sorry I took so long, but I was actually still hoping that someone would answer my most important question...I need a link to a good tutorial or example on how to use the pagecontrol component in EVC!

I'm torn between accepting amrit's answer and asking for a refund. His links were helpful, but I had found them myself before he answered...

Oh well, I'll accept his answer within those 4 days if noone else feeds me anything more! ;)
