"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi horstuff,

Try  this
open outlook
go to tools > send/receive settings > define send/receive groups
double-click on ALL accounts
there you can choose the account and uncheck receive mail

I guess I don't know the proper procedure. Is it that big a deal, and if so, why?

My logic is that it took about an hour and a half for someone to reply, and I'm paying for this, so that was my overall opinion of the experience. I guess if that dings you directly, then my method is flawed. It wasn't your fault that you didn't see it sooner. I guess I will just not factor in response time from now on.
