Hi gardnerbartlett,

Did it start suddenly ?

What error message ( + number) do you get in the send and receive dialog box ?

what is your outgoing mail server and have you tried to turn on authentication for outgoing server to see if that would help

check with your mail provider if any issue started recently

first error is message delayed, then later on message undeliverable. We have our own exchange server and can't think of any changes in configuration that would cause it. We just changed to a new provider but the issue existed prior to that.
Check if this would help

You receive a non-delivery report when you try to send an e-mail message to a recipient that is located in your Exchange organization in Outlook 2003

pacbell.net is not located in our exchange organization. Out exchange 2003 only has a dozen of our own mailboxes. We have a client who has an email account with pacbell.net. She can send to us but we can not send to her .
thanks for the comment

I'll have to ask, thanks for the comment.
turns out other computers in our office can't send email to her address. We'll have to check to make
sure we are not somehow blocked.
