HOWTO Create VB Webcam app and communicate with client Java applet

What i basically want is the following.

I want to have a visual basic 6.0 program that displays live video from a webcam that is connected to the machine where the vb app will run on.
So there should be somekind of image/webcam control that can display live video from the cam at around 30fps. That's the server part in fact.

Next to that, I want to have clients that connect with their browsers ( java applet ) and request live video from the server app. So the above mentioned
server app, should be able to handle those requests for live video. The clients will only need to view the live video inside the applet. The clients
don't need to send live video back.

It would be also great if the clients could receive sound that is recorded/sent by the server vb app. With sound i mean the audio that is captured through a mic. recording
device that is connected at the mic. input of the server pc.

I realize this is difficult but would be most grateful ofcourse.

Hi, thanks, but i really need to have a client that will connect with a JAVA applet.

The server should be able to send both video and sound.
