Hello experts

Can anybody suggest me calculator which will count in binary for me and convert decimals to binary and back. The problem is that my caculator can convert 27 to binary but can't convert 27.1875 where answer is 11011.0011 not only 11011. My os is Debian Sarge.

    You can try the following 2 (both GUI):
    gnome-calculator   (if you have gnome)

    excelent it seem that  gnome-calculator is the best it also does ascii convertion and lots more functions as well. I'm having KDE and Kcalc it has nice graphic interface but is useless ! gnome-calculator simple GUI but very powerfull:)) I will compare this fact with lots of games on market this days:))

    even scientific number conversion :)) I'm just telling that if you give gnome-calculator to the Bill Gates hands half of the microsoft employees will be fired because they do what gnome-calculator also can. :)))
