Worm/MyDoom.AH.eml

When I tried to open an emai, my AntiVir from German, popped up detecting the above virus. I deleted. The email is open but blank. I closed it. Back to my Thunderbird email client program, the email still there, when I tried to delete it refused, the AntiVir popped up like before and I selected to delete. This happened a couple of times and eventually the whole emails in Inbox was deleted.

What other damages has it done apart from this to my machine?

Does this kind of virus activated to the "13th" of date?

I scanned with AntiVir and no more virus found at the moment.

Complete information on MyDoom.AH is available from Symantec's Antivirus Research Centre:

http://www.sarc.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.mydoom.ah@mm.html

No, it's not a "13th" date activated virus.

Symantec's removal tool for this Virus is available here:  http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.mydoom@mm.removal.tool.html

You may want to try that in addition to your own Antivirus program.

As for what other damages:

If you are infected, the virus is gathering emails found from your address books and from various documents and is using it's own email engine to send to others, in attempts to infect them.

It would have entered a new value in your registry, in the startup section.

All this info is in the SARC link presented above, however.
