changing the speed of playing of a Wave File

Dear All,
I have to change the speed of wave file , like slow it down of make it fast. As far as my understanding , i will have to modify things in the header only for that... iam using .NET for this, need suggestion.

    I found those 2 URL's,  not sure how much help they will be but thats the best things I could find.

    You will probably will have to use the MCI (multimedia control interface) in .Net to control the speed of playback of a wav file.
