See http://180solutions.com/pages/consumers.aspx

My guess it is their search engine software downloading an updated DLL or it may be the URL requested for making a search or reporting back data.

If you have access to the physical network there are always ways to monitor.
Get a Windows or Linux machine and connect it to a hub together with your Internet connection and it will be able to capture all traffic which you can analyse.
You can use the free ethereal (http://www.ethereal.com/) software for this.
