I got the WRV54G, A Linksys VPN Router Wireless-G.

I'm able to get to the config page but no internet access.  But when I plug my computer directly to the broadband modem I'm able to get internet access?  Does anybody know why?

OK, you can get to the config page, so you have connectivity to the router, now you need to configure the router to conenct to your isp (give the router your username and password that you use to connect to your isp) your manual should be able to walk you thru the steps you need
I assume you have the computer set for dhcp (to automatically recieve IP info). Once yo have the router configured correctly, it will give the computer the info it needs

a little more info
the router will connect to your isp, and your machine will connect to the router, as far as your machine is concerned the internet is just part of it's local network

I found out why.  This router needs to be set as Gateway, not as Router.  And I need to Clone my Mac address because my ISP requires it if I use a router.
