trying to make a backup disk

I have windows xp prof and am trying to make a back up disk to a cd but I keep getting an error message saying cannot use that name backup.bfk or invalid path or insufficient access. What am I doing wrong?

    XP's backup tool cannot backup directly to CD.  You'd have to backup to a file on the hard disk first, then use CD Burner software to burn the BKF file to a CD.

    lol what do u mean by hard disk....just a new folder???

    Using the backup tool, tell it to backup to a file called C:\MyNovember2004Backup.bkf

    After the backup is complete, use Roxio Easy CD/Easy Media Creator or Ahead Nero (or whatever CD Burning software you have) to backup the file c:\MyNovember2004Backup.bkf
