I recently bought an HP PSC 1315xi printer in order to create cd/dvd labels. I installed the software, calibrated the ink cartridges and all that good stuff. I purchased a label kit from Avery and installed their software and calibrated the printer in order for the alignment to be correct. Now when I try to print cd labels (using the correct paper stock and making sure that the correct paper stock is selected) the printing is off! The labels are vertically off by like half an inch. I tried printing with regular plain paper to see if I got the same problem and I didn't and this led me to believe that this is a paper-stock issue. I checked all settings in the printer preferences and changed the paper type to " other inkjet paper" but that still didnt work. Has anyone had a similar problem? I have wasted a lot of ink trying to troubleshoot this! Like I said before, I did calibrate the printer and that doesnt seem to work! Any help with this is appreciated.
