Illustrator Photoshop Question

I was doing some work in Illustrator CS and Photoshop CS. I am relativelly new to Illustrator but like its vector based drawing system. Anyway I was working on a web page and was wondering, is there a way I can create my vector drawings and graphics in Illustrator and Export them to Photoshop keeping the layers intact?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi Josh,

You can Export your Illustrator file as Photoshop PSD. File > Export. Select Photoshop PSD and hit OK. In the Photoshop Export Options make sure that Write Layers is checked. That should do it.
