I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I don't think you can download SCO for free (license software, in 199X, you can download a copy of SCO for home or evalation, but not any more).

SCO is getting out of the market, consider change to Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris x 86, they are free lunch.

SCO History:

If you still want SCO:

or
contact your local SCO office (if there is one in your city), it will cost you at least $$$.

most likely from www.microsoft.com , since they in part own SCO....

The SCO 5.0.5 product has been retired and believe the 5.0.6 product is severly limited to what resellers have on hand.  SCO's curent version is 5.0.7 which you should be able to buy the media kit for a reasonable price which should come with evaluation license codes that would allow you to install the OS to use for a short period of time.  Might be less than $100.00.  Of course if you are tied into the 5.0.5 you can try some of the online auction sites.  When the 5.0.5 was readily available the media kits were only about $65.00 (if I remember correctly)  SCO will be around for a little while yet as there are a lot of people still using it.
