Include colors in java console window??

Is there any mean to include colors in the java console window???

can anyone help???

This is not possible using the regular java classes as this is highly OS and shell dependant. You will probably need to assume the user is using a specific shell and OS to be able to use colours.

There is a project that looks promising that you could check out: http://www.nongnu.org/jcurzez/
You could also implement this yourself, using escape characters for the assumed terminal. But as I said, this could be difficult as the escape character and escape codes differ from shell to shell/terminal.
