ActiveX OCX won't appear in browser? What to check?

I am loading a ActiveX OCX into a web page.

On one machine it loads fine. On the other it loads (no red x in a square) but the page is blank. What do I need to check?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Check the security settings on the machine that it will not load on... Is the browser that wont load it configure to reject activex controls that are not digitaly signed?

Is the CodeBase parameter correct?

Do you have the correct classid in the Object tag??

I think it was to do with permissions on the machine. Have it resolved, not entirely sure how.
