Configuring Lotus notes for internet mail

hello sir,

i've just lotus notes 6 on one PC. its working fine.
when i try to send mail to other people (using yahoo, hotmail...) i used to get an error:
"smtp error. a permanent error has occured".

then i modified the settings, "mails - directly to internet" to through "domno server". now am able to send internet mails.
but now, another issue crop up.

when i send mails to other internal mail clients (nestcape 4.x and 7.x), i get the a delivery failure. and my messages dont get delivered. what should i do?

how should i configure my mails for internet(hotmail, yahoo...) as well as for mails in my local network .

plz help me.
i need a solution quite urgent!

First explain your setup.. and how your server connected to internet ?

To access yahoo and hotmail you have to configure the client (not server) with proper pop and smtp server in the account setup..
