VB/VBA and Cookies within MS Word

Have created a cookie with ASP in a browser and now require the number stored in that cookie to be retrieved by MS Word.

How is this possible?   Using request.cookies does not work with an Object Required error being produced.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This may help (they are VB, but should work in VBA too)

Thanks, will check them out over the next few days and come back to you.

This is the preferable way I wish to do this - I have worked another around the problem which is to get ASP to collect the user's IP address and dump it in the DB with the number required, and then get the VBA app gets the user's IP address and then go to the DB to collect the number. As this will only ever run on an enclosed intranet, there will never be a case of duplicate IP's.

Anyway, as said - will try them out in a VBA environment.
