Microsoft Visio Workspace

I've been task with diagramming our entire network in a Visio document, however the network is quite large, Is there a way you can increase the amount of workspace that visio gives you also, does anyone have some examples  "detailed network maps" what ive found online are not quite what I'm looking for to serve as an example.

Thanks in advance

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Depending on how large your network is, you may want to break it down into definite parts such as locations or subnets.

I'm a bit at a loss here.
What do you mean by "increase the amount of workspace that visio gives you"?

What version of Visio are you using? Earlier versions (prior 2003) had a Auto Discovery feature that automatically detected and configured a map for you. Below is a link about the feature prior to 2003 and what you can use today to do the same.

I have had to design and draw many networks as a consultant, have been using Visio for years. I would recommedn that insteadt of drawing one huge network, you might want to create smaller but more detailed maps, then just add a pages to your drawing. This can be done by segementing the map by braodcst domains, workgroups, servers, network equipment and so on.
