.msg file viewer
Is there a way to preview .msg email files when browsing with windows explorer or Outlook?

In order to Archive my email items in outlook, I exported them to msg files. What I am wondering is if I can preview them without opening them from windows explorer or from within outlook itself.
BTW they are readable as eml file using outlook express, but that still requires me to open the file or import it into Express. Good thought though....

Okay, try this SR,
I can open windows folders in outlook which is good because I can see some of the email fields there. I can't preview the emails, but..... I guess I can't have everything.
Can you tell me how to make a shortcut to a windows folder so it opens in outlook instead of windows explorer? I want to be able to create a shortcht in a contact form, that points to that contact's windows folder

Just right-click the file , open with "outlook or outlook express" and check if you can view it ..
or you can drag and drop that file into outlook express and see if you can view it
or
change the file name to *.eml and view it in outlook express
