Default Public Folder Tree

I have two exchange 2k3 servers, the default public folder tree is associated with the first e2k3  server.  Now that I have the second e2k3 server online, how do I associate the default public folder tree with the second server and not the first.

Now when you highlight the top level of public folders is says connected to: and its pointing to the first server installed.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

First of all you need to create the replica's of the public folder on the new exchange server. follow the article below;en-us;319218&sd=tech;en-us;319218&sd=tech

To change the default public store
On the General tab of mailbox store, you will need to set the following properties:

OK I have done those two things that you said, but still If I go in ESM and then go to Folders and Highlight Public Folders It will say in the right pane "Connected to Server A"  when I want it to connect to Server B.  Server A is the first exchange server in the enviroment.

OK Here we go, I have some more information, the first exchange server in the org created the Default Public Folder tree.  So if I remove this server from the organization, Public Folders are not reachable.  Even though I rehome the folders, once the exchange server that created the DEfault Public folder store goes away, how do I make exchange make another server the home for the Default Public folder tree.  Now take into consideration that it does me no good to make general PF tree because mapi client cant connect to those.

If you replicated the first server's content over to the new server, then you should be able to point the mailbox store to that tree. Remove the content on the first server, by killing the replica. Then only the new server has the data. BTW, a restart of the exchange services would be in order at that point.
