I install the lastest version of wine in sUSE 9.1 and teh lastest version of cups.
I can't print to windows printers from any application running with wine.

I would like to know how < HAVE to configure wine for printing through cups to teh windows printers instqalled in it.

PD: I not have any problems if I print directly from cups to the windows LAN printers installed ... So my problem is how to configure wine for printing...

Thanks,
Fernando

Are you familiar with the Wine HOWTO? It has a chapter about printing: http://www.witch.westfalen.de/Wine-HOWTO/ch-wine-printing.html

Actually, it should just work: The second link I gave you does state that Cups support is already built into Wine, and I can confirm this. I just installed Acrobat Reader 5.0.5 under Wine (also on SuSE 9.1), and all my Cups printers do show up on the print dialog, and I can send jobs to a Cups connected printer. Give it a try.
