Exchange Mailbox Event Sink - Sent mail check for text and attachment.

Hi ,
I want to fire an exchange event when a mail sends from a users mailbox.

Want to check for certain text e.g "jokes ,fcuk" etc....

Also want to check for attachment name jpg or jpeg etc

And then forward the mail to an address ...

Any ideas?

Cheers!

what you want is a spam filter :) But yes, plenty of event sinks for Exchange laying around.. 2000 or 2003?

We have a spam filter which is Excellent , GFI MailEssentials and Security :-)

*BUT* We need to catch intra-Exchange mail and we have our Anti-spam on an Email Gateway in DMZ....

Its Exchange 2000...

Cheers!

Most Exchange AV software can catch the attachments - even on internal mail. At one site I upset the users by blocking zip files, but they have remained virus free as a result.
