How would I setup Scalix Connect for Outlook on an XP Pro?

We have a Scalix mail server and each client PC has to install the client version to access the Scalix server thru Outlook. I managed to setup the Client Scalix on a 2000 Pro box no problem. But when I tried to add service to a Scalix Server on an XP Pro box, I get a RunDLL error. Can anyone help me?

Thanks

I am not familair with the product, but you may have to use a "connector" rather than saying it's an Exchange Server.  Are we compairing the same version of Outlook on both operating systems?

Yes, the same outlook for both 2000 and XP Pro.
And what version might that be?
It is Outlook2000 for both XP Pro and 2000 Pro.
In Outlook go to the inbox, then tools, services, Add.
What are you choosing here.  I assume it's have disk?  And what then?
After I click Tools, Services, Add, "Scalix Server", then I get a RunDLL error. I have installed the Scalix Connect for Outlook Client but I still get the error. The XP Pro have SP2 integrated.

You would think that the Scalix does not support XP Pro but I have other clients that work fine. They were installed before I got here. I'm new to this job. So I'm suspecting that the Scalix Client was installed before the SP2 was installed.

Well I havent got a chance to do another install on XP. But I really appreciate your advice.
I'm using Scalix on various client sites.
What version of Scalix are you using?  11.4.6?
What I normally do is install the Scalix connector when logged-on as the user (not admin).
After the installation, go to mail via control panel and add a profile (select other server and then you should see Scalix listed).
In the field server name, fill in the hostname or IP of the Scalix and use the full e-mail address as user.
This should work.
Please note that Office 2010 is not working.  2003 and 2007 are in use at my client sites and are working.
If you like, I can sent you the scalix connector that I'm talking about.
