I again will ask the ASPrunner question as I now have the Professional version of the software. I would like to generate a separate set of asp pages for one mdb file. I would like to keep these page in separate folders.
I use FP 2002 and ASPrunner (ASPRunner creates a set of ASP pages to access and modify Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access , DB2, MySQL, or FileMaker databases, or any other ODBC datasource. Using generated ASP pages, users can search, sort, edit) from http://www.xlinesoft.com/asprunner/
When I use your folder method I can only pull up the records. Any attempt to modify, delete, etc. creates errors.
---usually relating to db file not being in the root directory--- I also get errors that may be pertaining to read/write permissions on the server. I ask for these permissions but am unsure if I get. Since the ASP error message covers several possibilites. I do not know what to rule out. IS there anyway I can determine whether I have the correct permissions or not??
I want to have the following stucture work
Is this possible? and if not how do keep separate sets of ASP page from overwritin each other when I import. If I must keep my mdb in the root directory how can I have multiple sets of asp pages. I need to look at the database several different ways plus password protect several different looks.
hope I have been clear.
