Magicolor 2300 DL
Hi,
I have a hard time searching for Magicolor 2300DL printer driver for Windows Server 2003. According to Konica Minolta, there is no driver for Win Server 2003.
So I have downloaded XP printer driver version - 1.5.819.0, this is the so called latest driver that I could find so far. But it doesn't work properly for Windows XP Prof client. Paper setting: Is blank and user is unable to select paper type - A4, etc. For administrator, it is not a problem. But I can't assign manage printer rights just because of printer problem.
Can anyone direct me where to download latest driver please.
Thanks in advance.

I believe the 2300DL is a GDI printer, in which case you may well need a driver specifically for Win 2003. In that case, if Konica Minolta don't have a driver available, you're out of luck. Their web site does not show one.

Could anyone provide info. where to download the latest XP printer driver for this printer? It does not work properly for XP Prof machine.
dna33,
From their site:
magicolor 2300DL Our Windows XP driver can be used.
Use the Setup.exe ... NOT the Add Printer Wizard.
You can find your driver here:

hello dna33,
i remembered the driver 1.5.819.0 which i downloaded from minolta website is not working.
i can use tat printer (USB) on win XP pro by using the installation disc provided by minolta when i bought.
if you do not have tat CD with you, i can send the winXP driver to you via email.

Hi cwkhang,
You're right, this downloaded copy does not work at all, that's why I'm asking around for help, not just simply provide an url.
Could you please email to me?
Thanks.

Cwkhang, thanks so much...it works! :-)
But it seems like I could only select Minolta network printer or generic network card. Did you have this problem as well?

winxp will detect new hardware and asking for driver

But I'm using TCP/IP, not as local printer.
