Does anyone know of a good VB.NET tutorial or self help guide?

I am working with someone who is a good programmer, except he is missing some core concepts that are key to programming. I am looking for a tutorial he can walk through various lessons to get a better understanding of programming concepts, like array bounds, object references, etc. I would like either a tutorial or some sort of online training.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Here is where I found good examples for getting started in VB.Net
Sometimes it is best to just look at code and learn from it.
