email with large attachment "stuck" in my outbox

I tried emailing someone an attachment that was over 100 megabytes and it's been stuck in my outbox for a few days.  When I try to go in there and delete it, it locks my computer up (win 98 I think).  Can anyone help?  I need an alternative way to get this out of there.  It's scanning it, etc.

Which is scanning it ?

If you have any anti-virus in your system , temporarily disable the anti-virus , close and open outlook and check if you can delete.

If you cannot delete the email in normal mode, try to login to safe mode going to start > run > outlook.exe /safe and try deleteing it

Try to press CTRL + delete to see if you can delete.

Try to drag and drop the email to the deleted items folder to see what happens.

Try to disconnect from internet and make sure outlook is not trying to connect to mail server and see if you can delete it
