Hello,

I need to know if Interbase can be embedded into a delphi application.  My application has to handle over 100000 records.  I am currently using Nexusdb but I am having performance issues.  Secondly, what are the obvious and non-obvious issues with converting to a Interbase database system from Nexusdb?  I saw discussion on this site about interbase as an embedded database but it was over a year ago.

easily, interbase was originally shipped with delphi, your database size is not particularrly large (unless each record is VERY big). I recommend using firebird (which has an embedded version), which a development of interbase, free and open-source. see www.ibphoenix.com for details
