Error Message: Iexplore.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows

I have already received the info from Microsoft Support but it doesn't help.  Does anyone have experience with this and what is a quick fix.  I have already run Spybot, I have defragged, I have looked for any Windows Updates that were needed and I have removed startup icons from the desktop.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello rd280z =)

What OS are you using and when do you get this error ? :)
try this, goto IE>Tools>Internet Options>Advanced and under Browsing untick Enable Third Party Browser Extensions(requires restart)
Restart and now check if same problem, if NO then it was becoz of a corrupted or bad BHO, try using BHODemon to
disable the BHOs and trace out the culprit one, BHODemon >>

I went into IE as you said above and it appears to work except that the address bar has disappeared.  Is this something that is a simple fix that I have overlooked?
can you enable it via View>Toolbars>tick Address Bar ??
