Disk error

I have a Windows 2000 Server with 2 HD SCSI of 18.4 each (the SCSI controller is TEKRAM DC-390U2W/PCI). Also I have one HD IDE of 80 GB. I recentely have problems with these disk and I change it. Now, with a new IDE disk of also 80 GB is working well but in the event viewer appears some Disk errors number 52 and said that the controller has detected that the device \Device\Hardisk0\DR0 has anticipated to a failure. Make a security copy of all your data immediately and replace your hard disk.
Also there’s a disk error number 7 that refers to the same device (\Device\Hardisk0\DR0) that said that it has a bad block.
I don’t understand the error because I just change a disk. Can anybody tell how I can solve these? Thank you.

howdy,

first thing i'd do is run chkdsk /f /r it will tell you that it can't do you want to run on next reboot tell it yes and reboot and see if it will run, if it doesn't then you probably do have a new drive with a bad track.

hopr that this helps
