Disk error

I have a Windows 2000 Server with 2 HD SCSI of 18.4 each (the SCSI controller is TEKRAM DC-390U2W/PCI). Also I have one HD IDE of 80 GB. I recentely have problems with these disk and I change it. Now, with a new IDE disk of also 80 GB is working well but in the event viewer appears some Disk errors number 52 and said that the controller has detected that the device \Device\Hardisk0\DR0 has anticipated to a failure. Make a security copy of all your data immediately and replace your hard disk.
Also there’s a disk error number 7 that refers to the same device (\Device\Hardisk0\DR0) that said that it has a bad block.
I don’t understand the error because I just change a disk. Can anybody tell how I can solve these? Thank you.

    Accepted Solution

Backup any data prior to starting. Run a chkdsk/f on each drive, separately, and determine which has a bad block. Additionally, run any diagnostics you may have (vendor specific). One bad block is ok. Running chkdsk will mark it unusable. If others occur, replace the drive.
