The cis1284 service failed to start

I keep getting an error message whenever I reboot out Windows 2003 SB Server.  The logs always show this error.  I have no idea what the cis1284 service is.

Yeah, we have a few shared on the network, but not installed directly to the server.

-Go to regedit, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SYSTEM>SERVICES>FIND the service startup info for the Canon service you described and delete it.. You many not have any Canon printer or multi-function device services or apps installed on this server, but there most probably was a failed attempt to install something related to that..

p.s. I dont have supernatural powers...How do you think I knew you had Canon printers?

No, I did aquick google search and cis1284 came us as a Canon thing...

Really I did a search for cis1284 and it only came up with 3 entries.  One of which was in a foreign language.
