would like to create menu images on the fly.

Hello,
I have a menu on a page that is generated dynamically. Since some of the menu items are user created  i have always had to use regular text. I have seen some perl libs that allow you to create images on the fly. Has anyone seem or created something where you can create image menu buttons on the fly?

I hope this question makes sense

Hi,

You may want to look at these perl modules:

GD.pm - Interface to Gd Graphics Library
http://stein.cshl.org/WWW/software/GD/

PerlMagick is an objected-oriented Perl interface to ImageMagick
http://www.imagemagick.org/www/perl.html

Good luck.
