Hi,

If these sites are in two different fysical sites, you would first need take so make sure to create two sites using the AD Sites & Services, then move the seond server into the second site, make sure to create a intersite replication (also within AS Sites & Services) and the servers should be able to repicate.

Make sure that the servers can see eachother by their internal ip address, so their should be a tunnel between both locations. If you use any sort of NAT between both locations, you will need to make sure that th NATting works on ip addresses, not on ports or you will need to translate a bit to much.

I changed it to a single site and configured connections parameters. Now I am getting an error"RPC Server Unavailable.this might be due to a dns problem"I would really appreciate if some one help me to configure DNS. Now i have configured DNS as AD integrated and NSLOOKUP is working.

Are both sites within the same subnet?? If not, you will need to create two sites...

I need some more info on how your network is set up...

HI,
Thanks a lot for your comments.I had an issue with firewall also..now i opened all the ports on firewall and am not getting that error. But still stuck with some other issue.I am getting another one "The following error occured during the attempt to synchronize domain controllers, naming context is in the process of being removed or not replicated from the server"I checked on microsoft site, but it mentioned only about service packs. I am using SP4 on all DC's.Any idea about it ?

Thanks
Arshad

Either install the latest SP (which is SP4) or download the hotfix which is stated in the KB article...
