How to disable the hotkeys of IE

I m looking for a solution with which i can override the hotkeys of Internet Explorer. For example there are keys like F11, F3 and F1 do their default action when IE is opened active window. Is there any way i can override or disable these hotkeys.

An early response will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

<script type="text/javascript">
document.onkeypress = catchme();
function catchme(e)
{
  var myKey = window.event? event.keyCode: e.which;
  if (myKey == 13)  //this is the enter key. I don't know what the ones for the function keys are but they should be easy to find (alert myKey)
  {
    if (window.event)
      event.cancelBubble = true;
    else
      e.stopPropagation();
    //alert(myKey);
    return false;
  }
}
