Active Server Pages Error 'ASP 0240'

One of my pages in an my intranet application crashed with the above error.

It says --

Script Engine Exception

A ScriptEngine threw exception 'C0000005' in 'IActiveScriptParse'::ParseScriptText()' from 'CActiveScriptEngine::AddScriptlet()'

Please help the with the solution to this problem.

"Updated MDAC to 2.7 Refresh, and Scripting to 5.6 one week ago. No more
crashes has occured after that."
