win 98 DSound.dll missing.

I downloaded DSound.dll file,but problem still there.Whats next step?

    Hi Help-Desk,

    Put it in your c:\windows\system and then register the file.
    Start => Run => type "regsvr32 dsound.dll" (without the quotes) and press enter.
    Then see if the problem still occurs.

    If it does, try the windows systemfile checker as this is a regular windows file:
    Start => Run => type "SFC" and press enter, keep your windows cd nearby.
