mcal_open

I am having a problem with the following function:

$stream=mcal_open(neumail01/mail_is/j.sloan.nsf,username, password);
I receive the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mcal_open() in c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\calendar.php on line 20

Do I need to download a separate library for this?  I am using PHP 5.2 with IIS 4.0 on Windows XP Professional.

I am also unsure of the formatting of the call to the calendar.  I have tried the following, but I receive formatting errors.

$stream=mcal_open((neumail01/ICAP)<mail_is/j.sloan.nsf>,username, password);

I receive formatting errors with the symbols when I call it like this.

You need to enable the mcal -extension

uncomment the
extension=php_mcal.dll

in your php.ini and restart the webserver Then the extension should be available. If  you installed PHP via the exe you will need to download the zip and extract the dll from there.

See hernst42 comments with regards to installing the mcal extension except if you are using PHP5.

From the PHP Manual ...

Note: This extension has been removed as of PHP 5 and moved to the PECL repository.

So, download the pecl.zip file and copy the dll from this archive.

The call should look like ...

int mcal_open ( string calendar, string username, string password [, int options])

e.g.

$stream = mcal_open('neumail01/mail_is/j.sloan', 'username', 'password');
