Windows rebooting on first control alt delete

Just recently (last few days) when I do control alt delete the first time it reboots my computer and does not bring up the task manager. I am running windows 2000 advanced server with all updates. Any ideas?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

howdy,

check your reg for the following

User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
Value Name: DisableTaskMgr
Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data: (0 = default, 1 = disable Task Manager)

hope that this helps
