Mac OS X 10.3 iBook

Hi,

I have a PowerBook G4 which is only running OSX 10.1.5
I have the OSX 10.3 disks for an iBook G4, will they install on the PowerBook OK?

Thanks

Many Thanks, just what I wanted tgo know.
I was presuming that they just write on the CD's for promotional reasons rather than technical ones.

Thanks
Andrew
Yes. I believe that pre-OS X there were differences, but insofar I haven't seen any differences between the CDs for systems in OS X, except for software that came with your computer. For example, if you had WorldBook on your computer, the new OS X from another system won't have that. I believe, however, that is the case if you use the same OS X from the same computer. So, anytime you reinstall OS X, it should be the same regardless of the CD the system came from.

Glad to help!
