Corporate Spyware/Malware product for Windows and IE?

I have about 500 computers on our network.  Unfortunately, due to the experience of my end users and particular software packages, we need to use Internet Explorer.

Is there a package that I can deploy or start installing to all my clients that will stop malware/spayware from being loaded in the first place?  I already use Symantec AntiVirus Enterprise and really like the Central Server type deployment and client constrol.  It also sets security so end users cannot turn off or unload the product without a password.

With the need to user IE, the amount of machines we have coming in for repair is really starting to get time consuming and out of hand.  I need to stop the spyware/malware from even installing to begin with/

Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

Hi EvilPeppard,

You might want to keep an eye on CounterSpy Enterprise.

I personally didn't have a possibility to check it on our network, but it sure looks like it should do the job.
At this moment I have Lavasofts Ad-aware SE professional on all workstations (with Ad-watch turned on)

I love Ad-Aware myself, but really have the need for a centralized solution.  Plus, 500 computers @ $39.95 per Professional Ad-Aware license equals ~$20K :(.

The CounterSpy may give me the solution.  I'll take a look at it.

I found out www.pestpatrol.com offers an Enterprise version of a Central Spyware solution.
I'd recommend McAfee Virusscan Enterprise 8.0i and E-Policy Orchestrator (EPO). McAfee 8.0i has spyware detection and removal in the product. EPO will allow you to set custom removes or exclusions. FYI - McAfee Enterprise 8.0i is the latest and much more advanced than the consumer version.

Symantec has some spyware removal in 9.0 but it isn't as good as McAfee's solution.
