I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

>> Is JSF a framework
JSF is a View framework, not control framework

>>Can we say it is a replacement for Struts or is it something completely different?
no replacement for struts beause Struts is MVC framework, the JSF acts as the V in this model, same as JSP before, so u can say it may be JSP replacement
